The firm has always been managed by Gaslini and Mosca families and they started soon exporting abroad its yarn. During the 80s the Open-End machinery was added to the traditional spinning but only at the beginning of the 90s, Filatura Astro decided to bet exclusively on open-end technology.
Nowadays Filatura Astro is equipped with the most innovative machinery from the technological point of view. All the manufacturing steps, from tearing to spinning are carried out in-house.
